2014 Inductees to be Announced on July 15th!

The Oregon Music Hall of Fame (OMHOF) will hold a press conference on Tuesday July 15^th at 5:30pm at Tony Starlight’s to announce the 2014 Inductees into the Oregon Music Hall of Fame.

The Oregon Music Hall of Fame (OMHOF) will hold a press conference on Tuesday July 15^th at 5:30pm at Tony Starlight’s to announce the 2014 Inductees into the Oregon Music Hall of Fame.

OMHOF was formed in 2002 to both promote and preserve the musical arts in the state of Oregon. OMHOF main focus has been music education including putting on assemblies in K-5 schools throughout the state, reaching 7500 to 10000 kids per year. OMHOF has also had a statewide scholarship program in place for 9 years. One of this year’s recipients, Molly Burke, from Summit High School in Bend, will perform at the press conference as well as receive her $2500 scholarship check.

Previous Inductees include Dan Reed Network, Dharma Bums, Robert Cray, Elliott Smith, The Crazy 8’s, Janice Scoggins, Curtis Salgado, Paul Revere & the Raiders, Doc Severinsen, Quarterflash Dead Moon, Hazel and Nu Shooz. For a complete list go to omhof.org

OMHOF will also announce the musical artists that will play the 8^th Annual Induction ceremony on October 4^th at the Aladdin Theater.  Tickets will go on sale Tuesday July 15^th.

This press conference is free to the public to attend and there will be a light food spread.
