What is Success? Raising $$$ for Bruce!

Organizers are thrilled with the outpouring of generosity for former Tower of Power guitarist Bruce Conte over the weekend.

Two nights of concerts at Portland’s premier jazz club Jimmy Mak’s produced a hefty contribution to a health fund for Bruce Conte. According to organizer Tracy Pain of Soul Sisters Productions, the combined proceeds surpassed $13,000. Pain expressed her gratitude to the Portland music community for coming together once again on behalf of a fellow musician. “We are thrilled that everyone turned out. Our thanks to special guests Soul Vaccination, LaRhonda Steele and Curtis Salgado and most of all to the Tower of Power band for all their support of this event!”
